The Ohio's Heritage Northeast consortium consists of partner institutions that use CONTENTdm software and server technology to manage their own local digital collections. They, in turn, offer participating institutions hosting services through remote acquisition stations.
One hosting institution, Cleveland State University Library, runs CONTENTdm's multi-site server which is maintained by the Library Systems division. The multi-site server gathers metadata from the partner institutions on a regular basis and presents it in a single, searchable database.
